The RMCC again had a stand at the VMCC Founders Day on the 21st July where all Rudge Enthusiasts were made very welcome.

Just a short report and photo from our informal spring meeting at the HALFWAY HOUSE Nr Langport on the 5th June. Ten in attendance including Mike Griffiths, Dick Makin , John Crispin , Vernon and Julia Cox, Tony Winlow. Dave Pollard rode over with some friends and sorry gents I did not catch the names. Here is a photo of the bikes . One has a Rudge engine !
John McGuiness was asked if he would like to take a Rudge out on the TT course - to which he replied - 'too many damn levers!'
The club would like to thank all who participated making this an excellent tribute to Mr East who was a gentleman and friend to the motorcycle fraternity who visited the Island.
It feels like a long time since we were all at a show especially with the winter we have had. It was therefore with a sense of excitement that the Rudge Motorcycle Club once again descended on Shepton Mallet to exhibit their wares.
Firstly, we need to say thank you to all those who did bring a Rudge to exhibit, without your contribution and the time sacrificed to do so, we would not be able to do what we love to do at these prestigious events.
A 1939 Ulster and Ducati Daytona 250cc on display by the Rudge Motorcycle Club at the Grange over Sands Classic show raising funds for the Peninsula food box Charity.
The charity is a south lakes based organisation to which the Rudge Motorcycle club has pledged the use of its equipment to help the local community weather the present economic situation. In the pipe line for next year we intend to raise funds to support an autism charity, a cause the officers of the RMCC have first hand experien
The Saturday weather could have been better but when rain stopped play it was eyes down for the prize bingo which went down a storm (if you pardon the pun!)
The Rudge Motorcycle Club stand -
The Rudge Motorcycle Club duly gathered for the annual Stafford show across the days of 21st/22nd/23rd. With new gazebo wearing its Rudge Motorcycle Club sign, the stand looked quite dashing, and thanks to Steve Bolger’s and Mike Griffith’s contribution, we made quite the statement. Notwithstanding the trials of the Velocette Owners Club, the Johnny Rudge insignia flew high, acting as something of a clarion call for those passionate about Rudge motorcycles.
No 654 is Richard Gardiner’s Rudge Ulster Race bike . A very capable machine which is at present up for sale. The engine was race prepared by Stratford Racing and has only been fired up and tested once. So ready to race if your ready spend.
Bike night at the White Hart in Bough Cumbria. Members of the Rudge Enthusiasts and the Rudge motorcycle clubs get together after our Christmas break. Plenty to chat about - spares and plans for the year ahead including the RMCC rally.
